Kendrick Lamar seems to confirm rumors that he may be composing an original song for Marvel’s upcoming Black Panther film.

With the film not that far away from release in February 2018, Lamar revealed an Easter egg of sorts in the recently-released video for his song, ‘LOVE.’

An extended scene from the film that played at Comic-Con earlier this year was set to the tune of Lamar’s ‘DNA.’

On that song, director Ryan Coogler said: “The lyrics are amazing — a lot of Kendrick’s are. It’s actually oddly literal for our trailer’s purposes — and I think a lot of the cultural things we’re dealing with in Wakanda are in the zeitgeist in the African American community.”

Right now it is unknown exactly what Lamar will contribute to the soundtrack, but both fans of the rapper and the film/comic are excited.
