Tiffany Haddish uses Kevin Hart as a personal punching bag in the latest trailer for Night School, but it’s all for a good reason.

The trailer gives us tons of shots from scenes in which Haddish’s character, a no-nonsense high school teacher, decides to use boxing and MMA fighting as a way to keep her adult students in line and focused on the information they need to know to get their GED. Hart’s character has tons of trouble staying on the straight and narrow, leading to the comic relief of the boxing ring.

Malcolm D. Lee directs Night School, and like Lee’s other film, the widely popular Girls Trip, the trailers left out a lot of what made the film a surprise hit. Maybe the same applies to Night School.

The film follows a ragtag group of adults as they struggle to finish night classes to attain their GED. The film is written by Hart, Harry Ratchford, Joey Wells, Matthew Kellard, Nicholas Stoller and John Hamburg. The film is produced by Hart and Will Packer and also stars Romany Malco, Keith David, Yvonne Orji, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Rob Riggle, Ben Schwartz and Taran Killam. Night School will come to theaters September 28.
