During press for his new film, a Jumanji reboot, Kevin Hart says he wants to star in a remake of the classic Robin Williams-Sally Field film, Mrs. Doubtfire.
In an interview with CinemaBlend, Hart and his Jumanji co-stars were asked what Robin Williams film they’d like to re-do next.
Hart said:
I’ll stay on the Robin Williams train and say that if I could jump into Mrs. Doubtfire. That was a very amazing performance on both ends for him. I think that’s one I’d love to get to play in.
Well….if there were a remake to be made, seeing Hart taking on this role would be interesting, to say the least. But the frequency and pace at which remakes/reboots are being put into development these days, this might actually happen.
