Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key (aka Key & Peele) have teamed up with Henry Selick, director of stop-motion films like “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Coraline,” to develop a new stop-motion feature film that will be based on an original story by Selick, titled "Wendell and Wild."

Said to be a comedy, the story follows two scheming brothers who also happen to be demons, who are challenged by their arch-nemesis, the nun Sister Helly, and her two sidekicks, the goth teens Kat and Raoul.

It’s still early in the development process, so few details are currently public.

Peele and Selick will co-write the script adaptation, with Selick directing and Gotham Group producing.

If Selick’s previous work is any indication, "Wendell and Wild" should be dark, twisted fun, with a boost of humor from Key & Peele. 

Since their hit TV sketch series ended over the summer, both Key & Peele have been stacking up individual projects, with stated plans to continue to collaborate, as they will in this case.
