Misha Green is a busy woman!

The co-creator of WGN’s critically-acclaimed, yet underappreciated period drama Underground has added another project.

Green and Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson will executive produce a series adaptation of the horror novel Kill Creek.

The description: “In Kill Creek, when best-selling horror author Sam McGarver and three fellow masters of the macabre reluctantly agree to spend Halloween night in one of the country’s most infamous haunted houses, their presence awakens an entity that will torment and threaten to make them a part of Kill Creek’s bloody legacy.”

Scott Thomas, who wrote the novel, will write the adaptation.

Green also has HBO’s Lovecraft Country coming up with J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele, which she will write and serve as showrunner. She’s also working on a Cleopatra Jones film remake at Warner Bros.

Deadline first reported the news.
