Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins is back with a brand new episode featuring a story that is ripped from recent headlines.

The second episode, “Love + Death in the Time of Covid,” is a contemporary story of true crime in which a Florida woman goes missing after seeking a divorce from her husband. According to the logline, “The start of the worldwide Covid pandemic coincides with the disintegration of a once-loving marriage, leading to a cross-country chase to ensare a vicious murderer.”

The story was covered by several news outlets including People, which gave details about the woman, Gretchen Anthony, and her husband David Anthony. According to People, David admitted to sending texts from her phone to make ti seem like she was hospitalized from the coronavirus. He pleaded guilty to her murder Dec. 2020 and told investigators where they could find her body. Her cause of death is still not known, but David was charged with second-degree murder and kidnapping and will serve 38 years in prison.
