LaLa Anthony is coming to 90210.

Deadline is reporting that Anthony has joined the cast of Fox’s summertime six-episode limited series BH90210, inspired by the popular ’90s show Beverly Hills, 90210. She will play the wife of Brian Austin Green, one of the original cast members making their return to the series. She’s currently the only non-90210 cast member in the series; along with Green, the rest of the cast includes returning 90210 castmates Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering and Gabrielle Carteris.

Even though the new series will draw inspiration from the original, there’s a twist. Instead of the audience diving back into the world of the 90210 characters, the series will focus on the real-life actors, who will be playing broader, tongue-in-cheek versions of themselves. The storyline will revolve around the group reuniting after one of them floats the idea that a 90210 reboot needs to happen.

Real life and fantasy are going to be meshing a lot, but there’s still a lot of it that’s going to be purely fictional, such as the relationship between Green and Anthony. In real life, Green is married to Megan Fox. But on this show, Anthony will be playing hip hop artist Shay, who is a superstar and the person in the relationship who brings home the bacon. Green, meanwhile, will be playing a version of himself that’s a stay-at-home father with their three children. (In reality, Green does, in fact, have three kids with Fox).

Aside from starring in this 90210 reboot of sorts, Anthony is also developing Intercepted, an NFL wife-centric drama, with 50 Cent for Starz.
