Lakeith Stanfield and DeWanda Wise are set to join Gina Rodriguez and Brittany Snow in the upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, Someone Great.

Jennifer Kaytin Robinson is the writer and director on the film centering on “a woman (Rodriguez) who, after a heart-wrenching breakup, decides to seek adventure in New York City with her two best friends (Wise and Snow) before she moves across the country for her dream job. Stanfield will play Rodriguez’s ex.

This is another project on Stanfield’s busy list and this will be his fifth project at Netflix.

The Atlanta star has two projects upcoming up from release, the Sundance favorites Come Sunday (on Netflix in April) and Sorry to Bother You (in theaters this summer)

Wise, who had to drop out of the Marvel superhero film, Captain Marvel, due to schedule commitments with her toplining role in Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It. She’s also one of the stars of Stella Meghie’s upcoming rom-com, The Weekend.
