From Flavor Unit Entertainment comes “Deuces,” a crime drama written and directed by Jamal Hill that stars Larenz Tate, Meagan Good and Lance Gross.

The film is executive produced by Queen Latifah for her production company Flavor Unit.

The story: Detective Jason Foster goes undercover to take down a crime ring that has been impenetrable by the police department for years. However, Foster finds himself drawn in by the unique persona of ringleader Stephen “Deuces” Brooks and the dual life that he leads. The mission is further complicated when Janet Foster also falls under Deuce’s spell.

Larenz Tate stars as Stephen “Deuces” Brooks; Meagan Good is Janet Foster; and Lance Gross is detective Jason Foster.

Rounding out the starring cast are Siya, Antonique Smith, La La Anthony, Rick Gonzalez, Rotimi and Andra Fuller.

Netflix picked up the film which premieres on the streaming platform this month.
