Peacock has dropped the first trailer for its new series, Last Light,

The series marks the first television return in a decade for Lost star Matthew Fox.

The series also stars Joanne Froggatt, Alyth Ross, Taylor Fay, Amber Rose Revah, Victor Alli, Tom Wlaschiha and Hakeem Jomah.

Here is the official description of the series:

Petro-chemist Andy Yeats knows how dependent the world is on oil; if something were to happen to the world’s oil supply, it would set off a chain reaction: transportation would grind to a halt, supplies would cease to be delivered, law enforcement would be overwhelmed. While on a business trip to the Middle East, Andy realizes that his worst fears are coming true and his family is separated at this crucial moment. His teenage daughter, Laura, is alone at home in London while his wife, Elena, and young son, Sam, are in Paris. Amid this chaos, each family member will sacrifice everything to find one another, despite the distance and the dangers that separate them. Based on Alex Scarrow’s best-selling novel of the same name.

Dennie Gordon directed the series and serves as an executive producer alongside Matthew Fox, William Choi, Sydney Gallonde, Rikke Ennis, Patrick Renault, Diego Piasek, Patrick Massett, and John Zinman (Friday Night Lights, The Blacklist).

The series was shot in Prague, Paris and Abu Dhabi.

Fox plays Andy Yeats, "an expat living in London and one of the world’s leading petro-chemical engineers. Andy’s brilliant and very in demand, but his drive and ambition have sometimes been to the detriment of his family life."

Froggatt is Elena Yeats, a smart, caring, and beautiful mother to Sam.

Ross is Laura Yeats, “a passionate and informed university student committed to confronting the mounting crisis of climate change.”

Fay is Sam Yeats, “an eight-year-old fighting a degenerative eye disease that is slowly taking away his sight.”

Revah is Mika Bakhash, “the one with connections in the British government and the targeted oil company.”

All is Owen Jones, “a brilliant college student who has been working his way through school.”

Wlaschiha is Karl Bergmann, “a worker for the British Government.”

Jomah plays Khalil Al-Qatani, “the head of a big oil company.”

In a statement, Gordon said:

“I am so excited to share this work with all of you. This project has been a career high for me; the ability to tell an important story with an international team of actors and artists, with MGM International Television Productions and Peacock, a studio and streamer that has allowed me tremendous creative freedom.”

“I was deeply inspired by Alfonso Cuarón‘s brilliant film Children of Men, a scenario we can envision just around the corner,” he added. “And like that film we hope to give our audience a shred of hope at the end; what is possible if we all come together to affect change?”

He continued in part, “I hope you will connect with Andy Yeats and his family, and we hope that this series will start the conversations we all might have about our dependency on oil and how we survive climate change.”

Last Light premieres on Peacock on Sept. 8th.
