Celebrity stylist and Legendary judge Law Roach is mourning the unexpected death of his 3-year-old nephew.

According to various sources including People, Roach's nephew Lamar Roach Jr. died Tuesday after falling from a window on the 17th floor of a Chicago residential building. Police have said the window screen was pulled inward and Roach Jr. was "found unresponsive laying on the sidewalk outside of the building" around 10:40 p.m. He was rushed to Lurie Children's Hospital, but was later pronounced dead. An investigation is currently underway; as of this report, there have been no suspects placed in custody.

Roach opened up about his family's loss on Instagram, writing in his stories, "Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. This is the toughest thing I've ever had to deal with. No one should have to bury a 3 yr old baby."

He also posted a picture of one of the articles about his nephew's death, writing, "I keep reading this over and over hoping not to recognize his name…my God!"

In his stories, he confirmed that he has received "calls and text messages" from fans wishing him and his family well and wrote how mourning fans and friends could send flowers.

"I love you all especially my Tribe," he wrote, adding information regarding his nephew's funeral arrangements in a later post.

Roach is best known in the style world for providing looks to celebrity clients including Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Celine Dion, and his Legendary co-star Jameela Jamil. On Legendary, he has made a name for himself as the toughest judge to please, often using the phrase "You did what needed to be done!" to teams who manage to impress him. The show has been renewed for a third season.
