LeBron James continues to add to his growing media empire, ensuring that he’s post-NBA life is full secured, with another half-hour comedy series titled “There Goes the Neighborhood,” which he’s teaming up with Bill Lawrence (“Cougar Town”), via his SpringHill Entertainment company, to produce for NBC.

“There Goes the Neighborhood” follows what happens when the first white family moves into a predominantly black, newly-gentrified neighborhood in Cleveland, Ohio.

The show is the second scripted series SpringHill has sold to NBC in as many weeks. The network also picked up James’ company’s drama loosely based on the life of Dr. James Andrews, surgeon to the world’s greatest sports stars.

NBC has given a script commitment to “There Goes the Neighborhood.” Should it be ordered to series, it’ll join SpringHill’s other comedy “Survivor’s Remorse” on Starz, as well as the reality show “Cleveland Hustles” on CNBC, and the upcoming game show “The Wall” on NBC.

“SpringHill Entertainment has come a long way in the last year and a half, and I’m proud of the creative, authentic and entertaining content we continue to create for all types of audiences,” Carter said in a release. “From ‘Survivor’s Remorse’ getting picked up for a fourth season, to the summer success of our aspirational ‘Cleveland Hustles’ series, and with a lot of great upcoming projects in the works, I couldn’t be more excited about the future of SpringHill.”
