The trailer for HBO Max’s voguing competition Legendary brings the ballroom to homes across America May 27.
The series features voguing houses battling for supremacy, with one house earning “legendary” status. The series stars ballroom icons Dashaun Wesley and Leiomy Maldonado as well as celebrity judges such as Law Roach, Megan Thee Stallion and Jameela Jamil. Music is provided by DJ MikeQ.
The series hails from Scout Productions with Queer Eye producers David Collins, Rob Eric and Michael Williams executive producing. Jane Mun and Josh Greenberg, who both produced America’s Best Dance Crew, are also executive producers and showrunners. Mun and Greenberg are probably the best to showrun this series, seeing how Mun has produced the People’s Choice Awards and the MTV Music Awards, and Greenberg has produced Lip Sync Battle and Sunday’s Best.
