Leslie Grace Reveals First Image As 'Batgirl' In Upcoming DC Comics Film: 'Let Me Kick Their Butts'

Leslie Grace, star of the upcoming HBO Max/DC Comics film Batgirl has dropped the first image from the film, featuring her in the Batgirl suit.

She shared a quote in the Instagram post,

“I use their expectations against them. That will be their weakness. Not mine. Let them all underestimate me…

And when their guard is down, and their pride is rising, let me kick their butts.”

Grace starred in In The Heights last summer. Bad Boys for Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing the film from a screenplay by Christina Hodson. The film’s other confirmed stars are J.K. Simmons, Brendan Fraser and Michael Keaton.

Hodson’s Batgirl script expands her work with DC, as she also wrote the script for Birds of Prey and the upcoming The Flash film.

Though In the Heights is currently Grace’s biggest film yet, she garnered a lot of attention prior to the film for her music career. She has collaborated with Meek Mill, K-pop boy group Super Junior, Karol G, Becky G, and others. Batgirl will surely would increase her Hollywood cache as a leading actor.
