RuPaul’s Drag Race season 14‘s Snatch Game left us all gooped and gagged…and we all can agree that DeJa Skye was the moment!

For the first time in the franchise’s her-story, nearly all of the queens who competed in the fan-favorite celebrity impersonation challenge received negative critiques from the judges. In next week’s episode, those queens will go up against each other in a paired lip-sync smackdown.

However, one queen is safe from competing in the highly anticipated battle. During last week’s episode, Fresno native DeJa Skye was declared the challenge winner after she wowed RuPaul with her spot-on impression of recording artist Lil’ Jon. During the challenge, DeJa had Mama Ru tickled with laughter every time she opened her mouth and shouted out the rapper’s signature “YEAH.”

Though her Season 14 sisters struggled to land funny punchlines, DeJa Skye shined bright, receiving praise from fans as well as Lil’ Jon himself.

Lil' Jon "loved" DeJa Skye's impersonation

Following her Snatch Game performance, DeJa Skye took to Twitter on March 12 to thank fans for the outpouring of love they have shown her since the episode aired.

“I FU***NG WON SNATCH GAME YALL!!!!!! THE AMOUNT OF LOVE YALL ARE GIVING ME IS OVERWHELMING AND IM SO HUMBLED TRULY! I LOVE YOU ALL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #DragRace#snatchgame,” she tweeted

The following day, DeJa shared that Lil' Jon "loved" her impersonation of him. She also revealed that Ariana Grande followed her on Instagram.

“SO NOT ONLY DID @LilJon LOVE MY IMPERSONATION OF HIM!!!” DeJa wrote on Twitter. “ARIANA GRANDE FOLLOWED ME ON INSTAGRAM LIKE WHAT IS MY LIFE RIGHT NOW.”

DeJa Skye is sticking to her "authenticity" and that is clearing working in her favor

While speaking with Shadow and Act earlier this year, DeJa Skye opened about her aesthetic and how being her true self sets her apart from the rest of the queens.

“I think that there’s multiple things I’ll be bringing to the season,” she said. “I think the one thing that will set me apart is the fact that I am a plus-size diva, yes ma’am! Me and Kornbread holding it down for the big girls. But I can definitely dance. I can perform. I’m out there. I think that I give, like Kornbread said, ‘authenticity.’ I have an aesthetic and I stick to it and that’s me through and through. So I definitely wanted to make sure that as I come on the show, when you see DeJa, you know it’s DeJa right off the bat.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race airs Fridays at 8 p.m. on VH1.
