Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is back..and it is back with a bang.

Shadow and Act has learned that Monday’s season 10 premiere has come in as VH1’s highest telecast and best Monday in the 8 p.m. timeslot in over a year. When combined with new episodes of Cartel Crew and Infamy: When Fame Turns Deadly, VH1 had its best average for Monday night programming since May 2020.

Additionally, the episode scored a 0.71 rating in the coveted P18-49 demo. It is up 82% vs. the P4W and up 51% in the time slot a year ago. The episode also made gains in other demos, including being up 125% in W18-49 vs. P4W and up 80 percent a year ago.

The episode had 871K total viewers, up 92% vs. the P4W and up 50% from a year prior. The highest-rated demo was W25-34. At a 1.65, this is up from the prior season’s premiere.

On social media, #LHHATL was the #1 trending topic in the United States, landing in the top spot within the first 15 minutes on air. It was the #1 most social cable prime series Monday night.

Season 10 of the show “honors the legacy of this cultural phenomenon with growth and evolution as producers and talent work together to take an intimate look into the personal journeys of artists, entrepreneurs and influencers.”

Alongside returning veteran cast members like Karlie Redd and Rasheeda are newcomers Yung Baby Tate and Yandy Smith-Harris, who is coming over from the New York series.
