June is Caribbean American Heritage Month and VH1, along with two of its cast members of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta took part in a new segment to celebrate!

The segment, which highlights three key aspects of Caribbean culture (fashion, food and language), puts the ladies to the test at identifying and explaining trends while celebrating their heritage.

The below feature opens with Spice, a Jamaican-born music star and Karlie Redd, who is part Trinidadian, discussing Caribbean culture, specifically fashion. Cloaked in a gorgeous teal suit with her tresses paired in the same color scheme, Spice explains the lineage of bold unapologetic style. Redd offers her memories of Carnival and the elaborate costumes her aunt would sew.

The Caribbean-connected duo also discussed the impact and influence of clothing in their culture as Spice details the story behind the rose-inspired dress. The pair breaks everything down and goes in-depth into more aspects of this incredible culture.
