'Love & Hip Hop': Yandy Smith-Harris Responds To Comment About Mendeecees And Infinity's Relationship

Yandy Smith-Harris uploaded a recent interview to her Instagram account that featured her husband, Mendecees and her foster daughter, Infinity Gilyard. This comes months after the infamous Love and Hip Hop scene that culminated the seemingly strained relationship between Smith-Harris and Gilyard.

During the scene, Mendecees steps in and throws the idea of Gilyard getting an apartment so that she and Smith- Harris may repair their strained relationship. After this, Gilyard storms off.

Prior to that moment, Smith-Harris had asked Gilyard to stop dealing with an individual who only wanted access to the Harris household to sell stories to media outlets in hopes of having the children there removed from the residence.

After this scene aired, Mendecees updated viewers that the foster mother-duo relationship was in a better place. There was no additional information given until recently.

As reported by Atlanta Black Star, the video posted shows Mendecees, following the instructions of Gilyard inside Yandy’s Yelle Skincare store. Gilyard is seen teaching Mendecees the Chicken Noodle Soup.

Fans of the Harris family were here for the moment. “It’s the effort for Me, man that’s so dope. All she wanted was to be happy and you guys wanted was to have a family be successful and raise beautiful kids, dreams really do come true. Love to see it,” commented a user on Instagram.

Another wrote, “I’m happy to see that he’s finally taking interest in trying to be a better foster dad. @yandysmith the last episode I watched with y’all was when he left you to do the hard part of telling her she couldn’t stay.”

Yandy claps back.

“Seeing them interact together warms my heart,” added a user. “This a prime example that everything happens in Gods timing. May God continue to keep his hands on your family!”

However, someone else commented, “Forced… this whole situation,” to which Smith-Harris replied, “yo people like you get on my FUXIN NERVES! Like seriously. Just STFU AND BE QUIET SOMETIMES. D**N.”

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta is expected to return next year on VH1.
