OWN’s reality television breakout Love & Marriage: Huntsville is seeing a ratings boom in its third season of the network, Shadow and Act can exclusively report.

The show led Saturday night’s cable telecast among its key demo, delivering its most-watched episode ever with more than 1 million total viewers in L+3 for its second episode of the season. This makes it OWN’s most-watched unscripted telecast since March 2019 (an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life). It also makes Love & Marriage: Huntsville Saturday night’s No. 1 telecast across broadcast and cable with the African American W25-54 and W18-49, outperforming NBC’s coverage of the Summer Olympics in both demos. OWN was also Saturday night’s No. cable network among W25-54 and W18-49, only behind USA Network.

Love & Marriage: Huntsville “follows the lives of longtime friends Melody and Martell Holt, LaTisha and Marsau Scott and Kimmi and Maurice Scott in Huntsville, Alabama. This season, there’s a whole new dynamic — the Holts are officially divorced and trying to co-parent peacefully, business is booming for LaTisha and Marsau’s cigar bar, and Kimmi and Maurice are struggling to parent a teenager.”

The show is produced by Kingdom Reign Entertainment and ITV America with Carlos King, Bernie Schaeffer, Angela Dugan, Brent Nisbett and Andrew Hoagland serving as executive producers.
