'Love & Marriage: Huntsville': Destiny Payton-Williams Shocks Viewers With Divorce Announcement

It looks like Martell and Melody Holt aren’t the only cast members of Love & Marriage: Huntsville who are dunzo. The Holt’s close friend Destiny Payton-Williams dropped the bombshell during the season 3 premiere on July 17 that she and her husband LeBerrick Williams are divorced. LeBerrick appeared on just two episodes with Destiny and fans have questioned the state of their marriage since he’s been MIA. Not only has he been MIA from the show, he’s been largely absent from Destiny’s social media.

The beauty-store owner didn’t say what led to the split but it was enough to call it quits ahead of their son’s first birthday and a little under an estimated two years of marriage. It appears the two split just months after Williams gave birth to their son, Law. Destiny confided in Melody that LeBerrick appeared “checked out” and that she handled most of the parenting duties last season. Additionally, the couple were in marriage counseling early on in their union and struggled with everything big and small, including Destiny preferring to hyphenate her marital name.

The writings were clearly on the wall as multiple blogs began reporting that LeBerrick wanted nothing to do with the show. Ahead of the season 3 debut, LeBerrick announced their split on his social media account and says he’s committed to co-parenting. The Instagram blog Original Straight No Chaser alleges LeBerrick purchased a home for himself and his mother to help him out with Law. Per Destiny, the two aren’t exactly cordial right now.

It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the season pans out with Destiny’s new normal amongst the friend group and her being another divorcee on the show.
