Ludacris may be a talented rapper, producer, and actor, but apparently, he has no skills in the kitchen. The iconic rapper wants to up his culinary game and is doing so in the form of a new cooking special on discovery+.

The one-hour special Luda Can’t Cook, features him getting a tutorial from James Beard Award-nominated chef, Meherwan Irani.

Irani is known for his international flavors and special techniques.

Indian cuisine is one of the rapper’s favorites and Chef Irani gives him a master class in everything from making spices and sauces, including curry. The show also includes Ludacris testing out what he learned by serving up his own menu of Indian dishes to a room of tasters, including his mother, Roberta.

As for why Ludacris wanted to participate in the special, he said in a statement, “I absolutely love food and have always appreciated the art of cooking, but I can’t lie – I have no idea what I’m doing in the kitchen. I’m on a mission to change that and master one cuisine at a time – it’s going to be delicious.”

“The juxtaposition of a uniquely talented megastar like Luda against a backdrop that he has no real knowledge or skill set in makes for some highly entertaining shenanigans!” said Will Packer, who is producing the special.

Luda Can’t Cook begins streaming on Feb. 25
