Luke James Speaks On The Heartbreak That Informed His 'Little' Character

According to movie and TV star Luke James, he’s got “two left feet” in real life. But his sexy performance in the new Issa Rae and Marsai Martin movie ‘Little’ would suggest otherwise. James stopped by Shadow And Act to talk about that scene and how much he relates to his character Trevor and his love for Regina Hall’s “difficult” character Jordan.

“I had a relationship once, and a young lady just dogged me,” James told Shadow And Act of how his real-life experience helped him tap into playing Trevor. “But I loved her. Good person, but the world is very heavy and it’s cold. People are human. Hurt people hurt people, so I understood his struggle for loving somebody and trying to love them through their issues and just non-stop keep loving them,” he said.
