Lupita Nyong’o and Twilight actress Kristen Stewart are in early talks to star in Sony’s Charlie’s Angels reboot.

A June 2019 release date has been planned for the film.

A second film reboot of the 1976 television series which starred Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, and Jaclyn Smith has been talked about it for a while.

The 2000s cult classic reboot, which starred Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore, spawned a sequel called Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.

A short-lived television reboot in 2011 featured Annie Ilonzeh before it was canceled after seven episodes.

Nyong’o, who won an Oscar for her role in 12 Years a Slave, will next star in Marvel’s Black Panther and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
