The MACRO Lodge was back in-person and in full effect last weekend at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

The 2023 MACRO Lodge at Sundance was presented by Chase Sapphire and hosted by MACRO founder & CEO Charles D. King and his wife and MACRO’s Chief Brand Officer, Stacey Walker King, from Jan. 20 to 23. The slate included screenings, events and parties that championed inclusion and people of color at the heart of the festival.

Events included panels for the MACRO and Confluential Films-produced project Young. Wild. Free, Prime Video’s Harlem, Focus Features’ A Thousand and One, Apple TV+ and A24’s Stephen Curry: Underrated and more.

MACRO Lodge’s signature party, Midnight Macro, was also held on its opening night. Food was provided by Pinky Cole’s Slutty Vegan throughout the weekend.

Overall, panels and events featured and were attended by the likes of Teyana Taylor, Meagan Good, Tika Sumpter, Logan Browning, Misty Copeland, Iman Shumpert, Algee Smith, Ryan Coogler, Thuso Mbedu, Daniel Dae Kim, Sanaa Lathan, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Nneka Onuorah, Lena Waithe and many more.

Chase Sapphire was the presenting sponsor and SheaMoisture was the premiere sponsor.

Premiering on February 2, the show takes a gastronomical deep dive into the dishes and cultures of the New York foodscape exploring iconic dishes and featuring conversations with tastemakers, cultural experts and neighborhood icons.
