Participating in the Lifetime reality series Married at First Sight is risky and as viewers and former cast members know, whether you make it through the eight-week process with the spouse the experts selected is hit or miss. But every season, there’s a fan favorite from the start and Season 13 is no different.

This year, the experts headed to Texas to match 10 lucky singles for the controversial experiment, and from fans’ reactions, they’ve done well with matching Zack Freeman and Michaela Clark.

The newly married couple couldn’t keep their eyes off of each other upon meeting at the altar and they had fans’ hearts melting.

Leading up to marrying at first sight was emotional yet exciting for the pair. It was a mixture of both smiles and tears on both sides. Michaela started off on a happy note, excited to meet her new husband. She had the support of the three sisters and was hopeful that her husband was kind, open and strong. She also noted that she wanted her husband to make her feel safe, just like her late father did. He died in a car accident years ago after colliding with a drunk driver.

Her village was there on her big day to incorporate classic wedding traditions. Using the ‘something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue’ tradition, Michaela’s sisters gifted her a mini blue model of the USS Enterprise from the Star Trek franchise. It was a nod to their late father who was a massive Star Trek fan.

Across the way, Zack was also surrounded with support and quite emotional himself. Coming from parents that have been married for 28 years – and witnessing both of his brothers in loving relationships, Zack was finally ready to fall in love himself.

And Michaela wasted no time planning for their future family after learning Zack’s name, noting she’d name their son Zack Jr. Fans can’t get enough of the couple. See some Twitter reactions below:
