Martin Lawrence doesn't think 'Bad Boys 3' will happen

If you were ready and waiting for the next Bad Boys movie, you might be out of luck!

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Martin Lawrence seems very doubtful that a third movie in the series will see the light of day.

He told the mag, "I don’t we’re going to get one, not the way everything’s turning out. Will is off doing another movie, and I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

But just last year, Smith told EW that the movie was coming soon, saying, "I love that dude (Lawrence). That’s among the best times I’ve ever had making movies. So I’m looking forward to it."

As for Lawrence, he's ready at any moment for it to happen, if so.

“I’m there, I’m ready right now. “If they wanted to do it, I’m ready, but I don’t have control of that. That’s the studio’s decision."

The movie previously had a November 2018 release date, but is no longer on Sony's schedule. The film also parted ways with its director
