Well… the upside is that maybe this could mean that we won’t get anymore Big Momma movies; not that I was expecting one anyway, since the last one didn’t do as well as the those before it.
Mr Martin Lawrence is reportedly “deep into negotiations” with CBS to return to the small screen and star in a comedy series of his choosing. He will also executive produce the new show; though no details are yet available on what this series will be about.
CBS isn’t exactly heavy on the diversity when it comes to its programming line-up; then again neither are any of the other networks. So a splash of Marty, especially if the series centers around him, would make things a little more colorful…
Just stay away from the fat suits, makeup and wigs Marty… no Big Momma; no Sheneneh either.
