Meagan Good Reveals More About Her New Recurring Role In "Californication"

I will say that I did make out with David on my second day of work. I’m just following tradition. The character I play is cool. She is a recording artist who is kinda-sorta dating a hip-hop mogul played by The RZA, but there’s a budding spark between myself and Hank. We’re only two episodes deep and so far it’s been a great set to work on.

From Meagan Good, speaking to Complex on what her recently announced new role on Californication will be. Recall that last week, we alerted you to the fact that Good joined the cast of the Showtime dark comedy in a major recurring role, to appear in 9 of the 12 episodes of Californication’s upcoming fifth season. At the time, all we knew was that she would be playing an up-and-coming hip hop artist named Kali.

The “Hank” she refers to is the star of the series, played by X-Files alum, David Duchovny. And of course, RZA also recently joined the cast to play a character called Apocalypse, the “slightly dangerous” hip-hop mogul Good mentions above.
