One of the biggest and most innovative filmmakers of our time, Jordan Peele, brought Get Out and Us — and now he’s back with his third feature film. The trailer for Nope dropped early Sunday morning ahead of its television debut at the Super Bowl.

The cast of Nope is stacked, with Daniel Kaluuya working with Peele once again. Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun, and many more join Kaluuya.

Daniel Kaluuya

Daniel Kaluuya broke out into the mainstream with his performance in Get Out, which nabbed him the Oscar for Best Actor. Kaluuya, who has become one of the most acclaimed and in-demand actors since his role in Get Out, was also featured in the ensemble cast of Marvel’s Black Panther and he won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance as Fred Hampton in 2021’s Judas and the Black Messiah.

Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer has been in our lives since she was a child. The multitalented star is most known for starring in Akeelah and the Bee, her own Nickelodeon series True Jackson VP, Scream Queens, and making her name as an in-demand host and musician. Palmer was on the big screen in 2019’s Oscar-nominated film Hustlers. She has quite the 2022 lined up as she is set to also star in Disney and Pixar’s Lightyear, Disney+’s The Proud Family and the upcoming thriller Alice, which premiered at this years Sundance film festival.

Steven Yeun became a household name during his time on The Walking Dead, where he played Glenn. Since then Yeun has been appearing in prestige film after prestige film. Yeun has been in the likes of 2018’s Burning and Sorry To Bother You, as well as 2020’s Minari which earned him an Oscar Nomination for Best Actor. Yeun also recently lead the voice cast for Amazon’s critically acclaimed animated superhero series Invincible. 

Barbie Ferreira

Barbie Ferreira is most known for her role as Kat in HBO’s hit series Euphoria, where she star opposite alongside Emmy winner Zendaya and the rest of the show’s young cast. Ferreira was known as a model for American Apparel before getting into acting and in 2020, she starred in her first film, Unpregnant.

Brandon Perea

Brandon Perea is most known for his role in Netflix’s mind-bending series The OA, where he became a favorite among fans for his role as Alfonso Sosa. Most recently, Perea has appeared in DC’s Doom Patrol as Dr. Thyme, and everything is set up for his star to continue to rise after appearing in Nope.

Michael Wincott

Veteran actor Michael Wincott has appeared in films such as 1991’s Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves as Guy Gisborne, 1994’s classic The Crow as the movie’s main villain Top Dollar Man and 1997’s Alien Resurrection. He is known for playing antagonists and is a welcome addition o Nope’s cast where prior evidence would suggest he might be the movie’s bad guy, or maybe Jordan Peele will flip what he’s known for in an interesting way.
