Michael B. Jordan has set up yet another project. This time, he’s the latest to be attached to the project Methuselah at Warner Bros.

Jordan’s Outlier Society have also entered the project as producers.

Deadline, which broke the news, says: Warner Bros has been trying to get this one up and running for years, with myriad writers and leading men that at one time included Tom Cruise. It’s got a Highlander-like mythology and franchise potential. The idea is for Jordan to play a man who has managed to survive for hundreds of years, without showing the physical signs of age. In that time, he has accumulated vast intellectual knowledge, from multiple languages to the sciences, as well as survival skills.

Jordan, who appeared in Black Panther and Creed II last year, just wrapped Just Mercy with Jamie Foxx and Brie Larson and also has set the Denzel Washington-directed A Journal for Jordan, the Ryan Coogler-directed Wrong Answer, the Gerard McMurray-directed hitman pic The Silver Bear and a Tom Clancy film at Paramount (which could lead to a potential franchise). And that’s just a bit of what he’s got up his sleeve!

The script for Methuselah has gone through several versions. Zach Dean has written one of them.
