Mike Epps has joined the cast of Amazon Studios’ latest project Troupe Zero.

In Troupe Zero, Epps will play a character named Dwayne Boudraux. He’ll be joining a cast that includes Viola Davis, Allison Janney, Mckenna Grace and Jim Gaffigan, according to Deadline. The film will be directed by Bert & Bertie and written by Lucy Alibar (Beasts of the Southern Wild) and produced by Todd Black. Filming for Troupe Zero will take place in New Orleans.

This film adds to Epps’ already full slate of films, which include The House Next Door, The Cat and the Moon, the latest Friday installment Last Friday, and The Last Black Man in San Franciscoin which he’ll star opposite Tichina Arnold, Rob Morgan, Finn Wittrock, Thora Birch and introducing Jimmie Fails.
