Tom Cruise is back with another sequel to one of his hit-action franchise films.
On the heels of Top Gun: Maverick, the first official teaser trailer for Crusie’s upcoming film Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One has just been released.
The film, which is set to be released in 2023, is the seventh installment of the fan-favorite spy series. The movie stars Cruise reprising his role as Ethan Hunt, a special agent of the Impossible Missions Force (IMF).
Although much isn’t known about the upcoming Mission Impossible film, the trailer does give fans a snippet of Cruise’s incredible stunts and a look at those who will star alongside the actor in the action-thriller.
1. The trailer shows several 'Mission: Impossible' series cast members making their return.
In addition to Tom Cruise, the new Mission Impossible film’s trailer shows the return of some familiar faces.
The seventh entry of the spy series will feature appearances from franchise stalwart Ving Rhames, recent additions Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby.
2. The trailer also introduces a few new characters and a first look at Tom Cruise's stunts
Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Rob Delaney, Cary Elwes, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss, Charles Parnell, Greg Tarzan Davis and Frederick Schmidt also star.
The trailer also shows Tom Cruise in action driving a motorcycle off a cliff and skydiving into the air below, which are two of the biggest stunts of his career.
The film will be released in theaters on July 14, 2023.
