Moesha fans have wanted to know if the Brandy-led show will come back ever since it ended in 2001. An appropriate question, seeing how so many of our favorite shows from the late ’90s and early ’00s are making comebacks in pop culture. Thanks to Brandy, we finally have a positive answer.

It has been reported that during Sheryl Lee Ralph’s DIVA Foundation event this week, Ralph herself asked the question of Brandy, who was in attendance, about a possible reboot. Brandy replied, “Yeah! Absolutely.”

“I’m here to solidify that we’re gonna bring Moesha back,” she said. You can see the moment captured on video in the tweet below.

With that said, the next question is how they are going to tackle the absence of Hakeem, played by Lamont Bentley who died unexpectedly in a car crash in 2005? Overall, fans can be joyful that Brandy’s hit series will be coming back to television in the near future.
