After the explosive binder-gate moment that left The Real Housewives of Potomac cast and viewers with their mouths aghast, Monique Samuels bid adieu to the show after four seasons.

Though the network invited her back, she opted not to return after watching what she considered unfair editing of the three-part reunion. She vowed to never return to the franchise. But that doesn’t mean she’s done with reality television together. Samuels is reportedly joining the Love & Marriage: Huntsville spinoff, set in D.C.

Monique Samuels and husband reportedly to to join ‘Love &;Marriage: DMV’

Huntsville is getting a spinoff just a week after the final reunion episode aired on OWN. TV Deets reports that the show will be going to D.C. to film the couples and wealthy of the area. Monique and her husband Chris are said to be the focal point of the show. The series will capture the social and business lives of the couples living and working in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia.

Considering the initial concept of the Huntsville series was set around Black real estate moguls, the show should be a good fit. The Samuels have several homes. Fans remember Monique’s moment with her Gizelle Bryant during Samuels’ first sit down with the ladies. Bryant asked her whether or not she had a home when Samuels revealed that she was looking to purchase a home in Potomac. Samuels shot back, “I have four homes,” which became a catchphrase of the season.

Who are the other couples on the show?

Also joining season 1 of the show are Erana and James Tyler, Ashley Brittney and Roberto Silva, and Tasha and Neil Lyons. The couple’s recently attended a dinner hosted by Monique and Chris.

Sources told the outlet that Erana and James are expected to bring the drama. They have a busy family life but find time to hit the D.C. party scene. They are involved in credit consulting, real estate, and run an online women’s clothing store called iVision Boutique.

Tasha and Neil are two parts of the mother-father-daughter real estate team, The Lyons Den Group. Tasha is also a celebrity hairstylist and has worked with Monique.

Ashley hosts Fun Times Moms podcast and is also a serial “mompreneur”, author, and runs an online children’s store called Fashion Ashton. Roberto, also known as DJ Quicksilva, hosts the Quick Silva Show on 93.9 WKYS FM in Washington, D.C.
