Morris Chestnut Signs Up to Play Derrick "Dog" Prince in Heist Drama 'Bus 657'

nullMorris Chestnut has joined the cast of director Scott Mann’s thriller "Bus 657," which stars Robert De Niro, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Dave Bautista and Gina Carano in a film about a father who decides to rob a casino in order to come up with the money to pay for his daughter’s medical treatment; as expected, things don’t go exactly as planned.

De Niro will play the owner of the casino, and Chestnut will be his right-hand man, Derrick "Dog" Prince, whose job is to recover the stolen money before the cops do.

Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing via their Emmett/Furla/Oasis shingle.

Stephen Sepher and Max Adams wrote the script.

Chestnut, who’s currently co-starring with Sean Bean in the TNT series "Legends," can next be seen in the Screen Gems thriller, "The Perfect Guy," with Michael Ealy, Sanaa Lathan, and Rutina Wesley.
