Morris Chestnut has joined the cast of director Scott Mann’s thriller "Bus 657," which stars Robert De Niro, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Dave Bautista and Gina Carano in a film about a father who decides to rob a casino in order to come up with the money to pay for his daughter’s medical treatment; as expected, things don’t go exactly as planned.
De Niro will play the owner of the casino, and Chestnut will be his right-hand man, Derrick "Dog" Prince, whose job is to recover the stolen money before the cops do.
Randall Emmett and George Furla are producing via their Emmett/Furla/Oasis shingle.
Stephen Sepher and Max Adams wrote the script.
Chestnut, who’s currently co-starring with Sean Bean in the TNT series "Legends," can next be seen in the Screen Gems thriller, "The Perfect Guy," with Michael Ealy, Sanaa Lathan, and Rutina Wesley.
