Award-winning music video director, Benny Boom, who also helmed the 2009 feature film, "Next Day Air," is attached to do the same for another feature film titled "Wild for the Night" (aka "Hypnotize 3D"), which is described as a present-day film noir set in LA’s nightlife.
Its synopsis reads: "A loner seeking redemption from his past, returns home, only to find himself entangled in a game of seduction, scandal and revenge on the Los Angeles Club Circuit."
Boom will direct from a script that lists Gergory Ramon Anderson, Rashad El Amin, Hannah Macpherson and Joshua Michael Stern all as writers.
The project hails from Vancouver, BC-based Odyssey Media, with Initiate Productions and Highland Film Group also on board. Kirk Shaw, Nick Byasse, Arianne Fraser and Jacob Silver are producing.
I have no casting attachments to announce just yet.
Boom made his feature film directorial debut with "Next Day Air," a comedy about a misplaced box of cocaine and all the hands that want to get a hold of it, which starred Donald Faison of "Scrubs" fame, along with Mos Def, Debbie Allen, Mike Epps and others. His music video resume includes work for 50 Cent, P Diddy, Nicki Minaj, LL Cool J, Robin Thicke and many more.
