Nene Leakes Says Porsha Williams' Engagement Looks 'Strange': 'Now I See What Y'all Saying! Ouch'

Nene Leakes may not be a cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta anymore, but that doesn’t mean she’s not giving up her opinion on what’s happening in the lives of her former co-stars. Fans are still grappling with Porsha Williams’ news that after allegedly just dating for one month, she’s now engaged to marry Simon Guobadia, the soon-to-be ex-husband of her co-star, Falynn Guobadia.

Both Simon and Porsha have released Instagram statements about their engagement. Though Falynn was introduced as Williams’ friend on the show, Williams maintains she and Falynn were never friends.

But Falynn told a different story during her appearance on Kandi Burruss’ YouTube show Speak On It. She says she met Williams due to the acquaintance of her now estranged husband and Williams’ ex-fiance, Dennis McKinnley. Simon and McKinnley work in the hospitality industry and allegedly have done business together.

Falynn says she and Williams cliqued and began hanging out with their men and separately. Williams even shared a photo of her out with Falynn last fall. Viewers watched as Williams spent time in Falynn and Simon’s marital home on a few occasions as well.

Initially, Leakes sent her congrats to Williams, writing a message under Williams’ engagement announcement.

Leakes followed it up with another Tweet, writing, “Reading is fundamental. I posted a comment and didn’t really read. I just saw love and relationship then posted. You have to keep it real as a friend, it looks strange but i don’t know any details.”

Williams clearly doesn’t care, recently posting an Instagram message of her own with a photo of her and Simon that was captioned, “If ‘If you don’t give a dam, we don’t give a f**k” was a couple.”
