NeNe Leakes Would Be 'Happy To Return' To 'RHOA': 'Andy And I Need To Have A Sit-Down'

Fans know that The Real Housewives of Atlanta hasn’t been the same since alum and OG, NeNe Leakes, exited stage left.

The shade hasn’t quite read the same nor have the verbal gatherings. With Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams exiting the show, the longtime cast members are now former friend of the show-turned-new peach holder Marlo Hampton, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore and the returning OG bone collector, Sheree Whitfield.

Leakes left the Atlanta series due to differences with the network. In an interview with Tamron Hall at the time, Leakes didn't release the conditions of her contract requests, but stated that she wanted to be “ treated fairly." Also at that time, Leakes had no desire to return to the franchise.

Weeks after the untimely passing of her husband and number one supporter, Gregg Leakes, she seems to have had a change of heart.

On the episode of The Real that airs on Thursday, Leakes shares an astonishing revelation.

Comedian and host, Loni Love asks her, “Well, the question that people really want to know Nene, you know it, would you return?”

Without hesitation, Leakes responds, “Yeah, sure, I’ll return to the show. I’m OK with returning to the show as long as you know, we can work through a few things. I’m happy to return to the show and besides I have a lot of unfinished business with a couple of them they confirmed on the show.”

Needing more clarification, Love digs a bit deeper, asking, “Like what kind of business, Nene? What could get you to come back?”

A coy Leakes answers, “I think Andy and I were really close for a really, really long time and I love Benny Boo, and I helped pay for his baby shower and all those things. I think that Andy and I need to have a sit down and talk and then we’re off to the races.”
