As Netflix continues to churn out much buzzed-about content, subscribers of the streaming service are set to see its pricing get bumped up.

“We change pricing from time to time as we continue investing in great entertainment and improving the overall Netflix experience for the benefit of our members,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

The most significant hike yet for the streaming giant will see Netflix’s popular monthly plan, which offers subscribers HD streaming on up to two internet-connected devices at the same time, increase from $11 to $13. The single subscription Netflix plan will rise from $8 to $9. The four-subscriber Netflix plan will go from $14 to $16. Current Netflix subscribers will be informed of the price hike by email. Existing customers will see the price hike take effect in three months. New customers are immediately affected by the price changes occur.

This comes as no surprise, as Netflix has invested considerably in new content that has garnered praise from viewers. Just recently, the streaming titan has seen acclaimed new seasons of series like Stranger Things, Black Mirror, Dear White People to films such as the Oscar-nominated film Mudbound, current Oscar favorite Roma and the much-tweeted-about film Bird Box, which starred Sandra Bullock and Trevante Rhodes.
