Popular Netflix rom-com Set It Up, starring Taye Diggs, Lucy Liu, Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell, could be getting a sequel.

Netflix’s director of original film, Matt Brodlie, said to Variety that the service is considering a sequel to the film, which features overworked and abused assistants matchmaking their bosses to have a better work life.

“It’s not necessarily a one-weekend, two-weekend thing, it’s a much longer-term prospect,” said Brodlie. “We’ll see how it does over the next little bit, but it continues to row, which is cool that it can do on our platform.”

The film, Brodlie said, has been internationally successful, and it’s part of Netflix’s vested interest in the rom-com arena.

“The success that we’ve seen with When We First Met and then Kissing Booth and then this, it’s clear that people are hungry for this genre and enjoy watching it. They’re all chugging along in a great way–so we’re looking for more, certainly,” he said.

A sequel hasn’t officially been greenlit, but director Claire Scanlon and the film’s team of producers say they would “definitely consider making a second film and exploring the characters further.”
