As protests sweep the nation against police brutality and racial injustice, Netflix has curated several films, television series, documentaries and more under a Black Lives matter collection. A screen to view the collection appears as a popup screen when you first load Netflix.

The streaming service said in a statement on Twitter, When we say Black Lives Matter,’ we also mean Black storytelling matters.’ With an understanding that our commitment to true, systemic change will take time – we’re starting by highlighting powerful and complex narratives about the Black experience. When you log onto Netflix today, you will see a carefully curated list of titles that only begin to tell the complex and layered stories about racial injustice and Blackness in America.”

Titles in the collection include 13th, When They See Us, Moonlight, Malcolm X, Seven Seconds and many others. Over 40 titles are in the collection.

Netflix first made a statement about the state of America in a May 30 post which went out across multiple channels. It was one of the first media companies to make a public statement. To be silent is to be complicit. Black lives matter,” reads the post. “We have a platform, and we have a duty to our Black members, employees, creators and talent to speak up.”

You can check out the collection on your main menu on Netflix or by visiting netflix.com/blacklivesmatter.
