Jay Ellis, who is best known for his role as Lawrence on the HBO show Insecure, and Glenn Powell, known for his roles in Scream Queens and Hidden Figures, are reportedly joining forces.

In an exclusive from Deadline, Netflix has acquired an action/comedy feature pitch from writer Michael Diliberti that will serve as a vehicle for Ellis and Powell. The story will chronicle two young Secret Service agents who must protect the President’s black sheep son. When the boy is abducted, the duo must risk their lives in order to get him back.

It will be executive produced by Brian Levy, with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch and Becky Sanderman as producers.

Ellis and Powell will be seen together in Top Gun: Maverick, Paramount’s upcoming sequel to the 1986 hit starring Tom Cruise.
