Siempre Bruja, Netflix’s upcoming Colombian drama, has become one of the most-anticipated TV shows. Fans have been clamoring for Netflix to give a release date, and they’ve finally answered the call in a new teaser video.

In the new video, which shows a confident Carmen (Angely Gaviria) walking down a colorful street, states that we can expect the series to drop February 1. You can see a little bit of Carmen’s magic at work as flowers bloom in her wake.

As we reported in October, Gaviria’s Carmen is a woman who lived in Cartagena in 1646 before being burned at the stake, condemned as a witch simply for love. According to the official Netflix summary, she is reborn in our present day thanks to a wizard and must get used to a new way of life.  The series will be comprised of 10 one-hour episodes shot in 4K.

Siempre Bruja also starring Verónica Orózco and Dylan Fuentes, is directed by La Esclava Blanca‘s Liliana Bocanegra (who was also behind Celia, the dramatization of the life of the Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz) and her La Esclava Blanca partner Mateo Stivelberg. Ana Maria Parra, who has worked on La Nocturna and Cuando Vivas Conmigo, is the head writer. The series is produced for Netflix by Caracol Television.
