Netflix’s Central Park Five from Ava DuVernay continues to fill out its cast.

Based on the true story that gripped the country, Central Park Five will chronicle the notorious case of five teenagers of color convicted of a rape they did not commit. The episodes will focus on the five teenagers from Harlem — Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana and Korey Wise. The series will span from the spring of 1989, when each was first questioned about the incident, to 2014 when they were exonerated, and a settlement was reached with the City of New York.

Joshua Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Blair Underwood, Omar Dorsey, Adepero Oduye, Famke Janssen, Aurora Perrineau and William Sadler have joined.

Their characters are:

–Joshua Jackson will play Mickey Joseph, lawyer for Antron McCray.

–Christopher Jackson will play Peter Rivera, lawyer for Raymond Santana, Jr.

–Underwood will play Bobby Burns, lawyer for Yusef Salaam.

–Dorsey and Oduye will play Elombre Brath and Nomsa Brath, the husband and wife who were influential community leaders and activists in Harlem during the time of case

–Janssen will play Nancy Ryan, a Manhattan prosecutor who led the reinvestigation of the Central Park Five case

— Perrineau will play Tanya, the girlfriend of Raymond Santana, Jr. after he was released from prison

–Sadler will play Michael Sheehan, a New York City detective.

Portraying the the CP5 as teens are Ethan Herisse, Caleel Harris, Asante Blackk, Marquis Rodriguez and Jharrel Jerome.

Jerome will also play the adult version of his character, alongside Chris Chalk, Freddy Miyares, Jovan Adepo and Justin Cunningham.

Felicity Huffman and Vera Farmiga will play members of the prosecution team while Michael K. Williams, John Leguizamo, Niecy Nash, Aunjanue Ellis, Kylie Bunbury, Storm Reid and Marsha Stephanie Blake play family members of the accused.
