nullE4's Misfits has gone through a bit of a shake-up since its 3rd season ended last year.  Original series cast members Antonia Thomas and Iwan Rheon both exited the show; and Lauren Socha's 2012 conviction for racially-aggravated assault is likely the reason she's no longer only pretending to do community-service.

Earlier this year, a casting call went out for three new Misfits characters, to be introduced in the upcoming 4th season.  We now know, thanks to ScreenTerrier, who will be playing two of the roles.

Nathan McMullen (Casualty, Shameless) will be playing the role of Finn, who, according to the casting call, "has a childlike naively optimistic view of life, he’s always eager to please and enthusiastic about life. Finn talks a lot and often uses this to try and talk himself out of difficult or awkward situations. He is very funny."

Karla Crome's (Hit and Miss) character, Jess, "is a kind of female version of Larry David – smart and articulate, She’s the person who will say the un-sayable, the person who’ll question social norms and etiquette. Jess hates people who bullshit and lie to her."

The casting of the third new character, Alex, has yet to be announced. Alex is "the sexiest guy on the estate. He is super good looking, all the girls fancy him but for some reason he is very standoffish, he doesn’t seem interested in girls. Everyone reads this as being extremely suspicious and suspect it’s power related."

McMullen, Crome, and the yet-to-be-named third new cast member will join series regulars Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Joe Gilgun in season 4 of Misfits.

Kudos to Misfits for this addition of two actors-of-color to what has already been a pretty diverse cast!
