Nickelodeon presents the triumphant story of six dynamic and diverse young female basketball players in “Little Ballers Indiana,” a three-part docu-series from WNBA All Star Skylar Diggins, premiering Friday, March 3, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) during Nicktoons’ NickSports TV block. Airing over three consecutive nights, Friday, March 3 through Sunday, March 5, the half-hour series follows the girls on Diggins’ Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team, Sky Digg Ballers, as they set out to prove they are among the best basketball players in the country.

“‘Little Ballers Indiana’ is a dream project,” said Diggins. “It’s about teamwork, building self-confidence and showing role models come in all forms.” “I’m so proud of the girls and all they have accomplished, and grateful to Crystal McCrary and Nickelodeon for providing this platform for them to shine.”

Set against the backdrop of Diggins’ hometown of South Bend, Ind., Little Ballers Indiana centers on six 11- and 12-year-old girls who meet as teammates and quickly form a sisterhood over the course of an AAU season. Coached by Diggins’ stepdad, Moe Scott, these young phenoms have a deep passion for the game which holds special meaning and high stakes for each player such as: getting an education; team building; conquering physical challenges; improving self-esteem; and proving that girls are just as good at basketball as boys.

“Little Ballers Indiana” also features interviews with current and former WNBA players Diggins, Lisa Leslie, Tamika Catchings, Elena Delle Donne, Candice Wiggins, Niele Ivey and Chamique Holdsclaw.

Diggins is a five-time USA Basketball gold medalist, two-time WNBA All Star starter, 2015 ESPY Winner, 2014 WNBA Most Improved Player and a four-time college All-American. She finished her Notre Dame career ranked first in points and steals, and led her team to a record of 35-2. Currently a point guard for the Dallas Wings, Diggins is a role model for young women and girls, leader on the court, fitness guru and growing fashion icon who constantly proves it’s possible to be a strong woman in the spotlight.

“Little Ballers Indiana” is executive produced by Diggins and the team behind “Little Ballers: Crystal McCrary,” Lupe Fiasco and Amar’e Stoudemire. McCrary also serves as director. The docu-series joins the NickSports TV block, a lineup of sports-themed content including series, specials and documentaries from professional leagues and key athletes. NickSports on Nicktoons airs every Friday from 9-11 p.m. (ET/PT).
