Nonso Anozie has joined the cast of Jack Ryan (per BlackFilm) – Paramount's upcoming action-thriller directed by Kenneth Branagh, based on the character Jack Ryan – the fictional character created by author Tom Clancy, who appears in many of his novels.
The charater has been played on screen by Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and now, Chris Pine.
The Branagh film stars Pine in the title role, in a film that's currently in porduction, with release scheduled for December 25, 2013.
Rounding out the cast are Kenneth Branagh, Kevin Costner and Keira Knightley.
No word on what role Anozie will play; let's just hope he doesn't succumb to the "brotha rule."
He was last seen in the most recent season of HBO's hit fantasy series Game Of Thrones, and next will play Samson (as in the story of Samson and Delilah) in an epic project for the History Channel here in the USA titled, The Bible.
