Shonda Rhimes has set her ninth project that’s in the works at Netflix.
Notes on Love is described as an episodic anthology series that will chronicle the “unexpected, life-changing, euphoric, hilarious, surreal, and all-consuming places where love intersects with our lives.”
The first season of the series will focus on marriage stories and executive producers will be Rhimes, Norman Lear, Aaron Shure, Steve Martin, Diane Warren, Jenny Han, Lindy West and Ahamefule J. Oluo.
Rhimes and Shondaland’s Betsy Beers will produce the entire season, while the others will be executive producing specific episodes, with Lear and Shure also co-writing their episode(s).
This is the latest project stemming from Shondaland’s big overall deal with Netflix that was first inked in 2017. Out of the nine projects at Netflix, period drama Bridgerton, which unveiled its main cast a few months ago, is expected first.
