Rapper Offset is readying his film debut.

According to Deadline, the Migos rapper and songwriter will join Ian Eldelman’s American Sole. The film’s cast includes Pete Davidson, Camila Mendes and O’Shea Jackson Jr. Kevin Hart and his HeartBeat production company is producing with NBA star Chris Paul via his production company Ohh Dip!!!. Scondo Productions’ Jake Stein is also producing with STXfilms’ Drew Simon and Patricia Braga overseeing. Bryan Smiley is executive producing for HeartBeat.

Offset is set to play a computer engineer who becomes highly important to the film’s plot, which focuses on Davidson and Jackson’s characters, two friends who try to do after-market sneaker reselling to pay off their college debts and become rich. But their hopes are erased when their business runs out of money and the only way out is a proverbial deal with the devil–an investor who might not have their best interests at heart. Offset will also curate and executive produce the film’s soundtrack, including making at least one original song.

Offset said getting a role in the film is “dope.”

“Not only do I get to star in the movie, but I get to bring my skills to the table as curator and executive producer for the soundtrack,” he said. “I’m bringing my world to the big screen. I hope the world is ready.”
